expanding my blogosphere

It always stuns me how many people stumble onto these pages. Some even come back for more – many even leave comments (125 followers – WTF? LOL)

It occurred to me that many of you dear readers also have blogs, websites etc. etc.  I do follow quite a few blogs – especially if you have left comments, but I would bet that there are many I don’t even know about, because you may not be “commenters”, but more “readers” – so  I may never know of the existence of your site, and I could be missing out on good stuff. And I like good stuff.

So, here is a request: If you read this page, and you have a blog or website, and you think it is at least somewhat relevant, why not go ahead and comment below, with a link and a description? I would be happy to check out your site and I probably need to update my “Blog Roll” anyway.

Thanks in advance from the SoFarFromNormal  Blog Team

  2. heidi ho! pensivepumpkin.blogspot.com training for my first half, RnR Portland in May. right now I've had vertigo since Saturday, so it's mostly whining about inability to walk properly, much less run. but I'm getting there!

    1. Awesome! But, be careful now - if you stick around here too long, you could truly end up on the dark side and start seeking out 50 milers and all sorts of weird stuff like that!

Thanks for the kind words - and wishing you a speedy recovery :)

  3. Hi Mr. Jimbo... I hear you are an ultra runner... Me too, sometimes... I am hoping I can get you to shuffle over and read my blog once in awhile, especially at the end of April after my next big race ;) LOL.

Seriously, I am quiet envious that you have over 100 more followers than I do... maybe I can steal a few :)

    1. Hi Shannon, your race report from your next race is going to be filled with quite an amazing amount of awesomeness, I am sure. ;)

Shannon won't say so herself, but from personal experience, she is an amazing coach, mentor, motivator and friend and I draw an incredible amount of inspiration from her.

  8. Chris here,
I found you just recently with the "WTF" post.
I try not to be too interesting on my blog:

Mostly reviews and once in a while some sage-observations.
I am registered for a rematch of a DNF of my first Ultra effort in June. Last year I did 46/50 in Vibrams. Now I am thinking Saucony Kinvara and Brooks Green Silence and some Crack for my feet.
